Intensive reading and extensive reading are different.what is intensive reading?In my opinion ,it is that reading carefully and sowly .what is extensive reading?that is reading quickly.
But in different situation,you need different reading.For example,when you read a fiction novel,you can choose extensive reading.Extensive reading will increase your vocabulary,hunger of the mind can be catually satiated through extensive reading.But when you memorize the vocabulary,you must need intensive reading .As for it ,you can remember it.
So,when you meet different satuation,you must choose the right way.
With good English learning method, multipoint listening, and read some English reading。
So your English will be better

Now, I’ll describe extensive reading. What is extensive reading? In short, extensive reading is everything that intensive reading is not. It is not “hard” material. It is not tedious. It is not slow. Unfortunately it is also not very common in the ESL classroom, either.
