Environmental Protection
No one,regardless of race,religion or nationality,can deny that the world we live in is becoming increasingly intolerable because of the effects of global warming.According to many experts,even greater impacts are still on the way.
There are numerous causes for this problem.On one hand,human-related emissions of carbon into the atmosphere is causing,and will in the future cause,significant global warming according to the theory.On the other hand,the lack of knowledge about the importance of protecting environment hinders the solving of the problem.
It is urgent that immediate and effective actions should be taken right away.First,more trees need to be planted to help improve and beautify the environment.Besides,stricter laws concerning global warming and irresponsible use of fuel resources have to be put into effect and achieved good results.In a word,there is a long way to go before we can take a comfortable world for granted again .

没有人,不管是什么种族、宗教或民族、可以否认,我们生活的这个世界变得越来越无法忍受,因为全球变暖的影响.根据许多专家,甚至更大的影响仍在路上.

The climate of the world is rapidly changing. Over consumption of fossil fuels had led to an more than sustainable release of carbon dioxide, methane, sulphur dioxide and other waste products. This has resulted in environmental problems such as acid rain, the redistribution of rain patterns and enhancement of the greenhouse effect; which is a main factor causing global warming. The emission of CFCs from deodorants has created holes in the ozone layer. And the increasing demand for wood in industries has led to rapid deforestation, and in some cases desertification. The world is in great need of environmental protection.
In developed and many developing countries, the need for environmental protection has already been realised. Governments have taken measures such as recycling, increasing education on the importance of protecting the environment, and finding alternate cleaner sources of energy. Recycling facilities have been developed and been made increasingly more common to reuse paper, plastic, glass, and other materials. It is now part of the national curriculum in many countries for primary school children to lean about the environment. Technology has been developed to generate electricity from alternate energy sources such as solar, wind, tidal, hydroelectric and nuclear powers; which are significantly cleaner than fossil fuels. In developed countries such as the US and Japan, bio-fuel is also used.
However, in undeveloped, rural countries, the need for environmental protection is much less of a priority as people struggle to find sufficient basic necessities such as clean water and food to survive. People live in shanty towns with little or no education, and are ignorant to the idea of environmental protection. In the places, development and education is needed.
In conclusion, in the world we live in today, environmental protection has become an increasingly crucial factor. The world needs to lessen its dependence on fossil fuel and develop recycling facilities further. In poorer areas of the world, education and development is much needed for people to gain awareness of the environment, and have the resources to put the awareness into action.

Our environment includes everything in the world around us and all of it is critical to our very surival as a species .There seems to be general agreement about this and there also seems to be agreement that the environment is in trouble .Huamn beings are pretty smart .We have managed to put a man on the moon, a robot on Mars, to go to deepest parts of the oceans and to fly across those same oceans at almost the speed of sound.If we're so smart, why can't we fic a few problems with the environment?
Obviously, we must stop what we are doing and return to a simpler time.We must put away our cars, airplanes and television sets and back to be hewers of wood and drawers of water. The catch , of course, is that we won't do it.before man came a;ong the environment was doing very well.Since we arrived, the world has,in some ways, been going downhill.
We have made mistakes, the environment is already suffering,at some point the damage will not be reversible and if we are to have any futher at all we must identify our mistakes and correct them.
